DABAEK-KDRAMAS

 Being an avid fan of k-drama I can't resist the temptation of mentioning my recommendations for an individual interested in watching a k-drama especially when there is surge in viewership ratings in INDIA

While it all started in my college days when I accidentally stumbled across a Hindi dubbed version of Boys over flowers, it was my first encounter with the magic of Korea whilst its beautiful culture far more engrossing and suspenseful than the monotonous shrieking of Indian soap who are busy showing a saas-bahu drama and some absurd supernatural shows which are far more worse than anything useless according to me. Nevertheless once I had seen boys over flowers boys I became more inquisitive for the shows like this so I tried many series of different countries and believe me South Korea is the one that continues to gross the top position on my list.

TOP RECOMMENDATIONS:-( in romantic-comedy):

BOYS OVER FLOWERS : 

A story about four friends in school who lives an extravagant luxurious lifestyle and reigning in school while having their bulldozing persona of intimidation amidst this a comfy hardworking bourgeois girl  somehow manages to get the admission in the premier school followed by the love-hate relationship between the show leads where the girl fell for the one with soft heart but he did not reciprocate to her feelings while at the same time the main lead eventually falling for her and made her fall for himself while the twist lies when the former one who did not have any feeling at first later on started liking her so it is good story with a grand setup and the views are mesmerising with a tincture of light comedy with romance in short: worth watching although I would warn you to be contentious while watching it for the first time as you may find all the people looking same or in recognising the names of the characters along with the absurd hairstyles!

-MY LOVE FROM THE STARS: 

A quirky romantic comedy full of tangy flavours with a touch of supernatural genre. A 3000 year old man living in the present century has to return to his planet within few months while making limited connection to outside world; all was going well until the superstar model became his neighbour.

-CINDERELLA AND THE FOUR NIGHTS:

The flavours of k-dramas include a second lead crush with a past connection webbing all the leads with a twist or suspense and the rich man falling for poor girl seems lame or repetitive yet it still garners audience like us! It entails a story of a young women whose dired need for money lend her up a job of making the reckless brothers to a responsible individual living under the same roof just with one condition she is not allowed to date any of them. A romantic saga with outstanding locations and songs filled with comedy yet stimulates emotional connection in audiences

-GOBLIN AND THE LONELY GOD (MUST SEE):

One of the favorite of mine (like millions) a delicacy of romance infused with comedy, emotions, supernatural touch along with bromance all in the same plate make us palatable yet it lives up to the expectation along with giving due importance to second leads or more like parallel leads. A goblin with supernatural abilities has been living in disguise for 700 years and he can only attain peace by the bride who has to snuck the sword out of his chest only for him to die while in the parallel a story of grim reaper repenting for sins of past until he met goblin and love of his life .

-THE LEGEND OF THE BLUE SEA:

Its lee min hu and jun's serial what else do we need for the introduction of this quirky series perhaps my love for romantic comedy is biasing but its always pleasurable to see each time. A story of mermaid and a man connected by the past with a tint of suspense.

-HEIRS: 

Another blockbuster delivered by beloved lee min hu and park shin hye based on high school love, a tale of love triangle with the manipulation of cunning high society people.

-CLEAN WITH PASSION FOR NOW:

A beautiful story on a couple where man struggles with complicated OCD and he can't sustain dirt as of some traumatic past due to which he cannot touch anyone except for the woman he fell for who rarely washes her hair and miles away from the word cleanliness.

-MR QUEEN

A remake of the Chinese series go princess go, infusive with different flavours of genre having palace manipulation , lead romance full of light heart comedy and a morale message, one of highest rated serial its one of the best in the list!

-STRONG WOMAN DONG BONG SOON (HILARIOUS)

I fell in love with the lead women one of the reasons why I have included this in my list, a story of a young women who is stronger than she seems due to the heredity she inherits from her stompy mother followed by a budding romance between a cute CEO and her while having a past connection which they seem to be unaware of.

-WHAT'S WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM

This is a story about the CEO of company who must do everything in order to prevent his perfect secretary from resigning while introducing us to unbelievable stories of office romance along with the sub stories of  other wonderful characters! would make you go for a ride in Ferris wheel.
